This is unofficial but Colchester will be asked to host an IC Nat in 2010. Just got back from AGM. Bloody long day and long way, left at 5.00am got back 8.00pm and 370 miles later.

No doubt Malcom or someone from the committee will be contacting you soon.

Nope, still one dayers. There will be a change to the Saturday format but it's no biggy. There will be a round at Stonehaven if you fancy a trek to Scotland. The other tracks are Snett, Mendip, Halifax, Cotswold, Adur, Brooklands and Colchester. Still best 6 from 8 to count. So for most it will be 6 from 7 I suspect. I have to say I wish Stonehaven wasn't so far away as it's a fantastic track as long as you don't suffer from vertigo, the rostrum is 3 storeys high, you really do look down on the track.

That list was those who submitted a desire to run a Nat.
Aldershot is off the list because of even more noise limitations.

Bummer for Aldershot, but good for us.

Still one-dayers,good for me. Adur,Snetts,Brooklands, ours, cotswolds look good. If i want to do 6 then i need to choose between Halifax,Mendip or accross the border for a 1156mile round trip(11hrs oneway on the AA routeplaner) Hmmm better get some shares in BP or Shell.

Paul, both Halifax and Mendip are great tracks, have to say though, never been to Halifax without it raining, seems to have its own micro climate
Just done the sums mileage wise for me its 249 to Mendip and 220 to Halifax. So not a lot in it. The easier drive is probably to Halifax as it doesn't go anywhere near the M25.
