That's annoying. I spent nearly that on my LRP (And it's for brushed only!) Hmm...
Being that I doubt I'm going to be 'that' good, I'm not really going to be spending a thousand pounds doing the car up; that said, I don't really want cheap and tacky either
Sharpie - If you could ask though, it would be appreciated |

That's one thing - What's the enterance fee? (Adult and concession)? (Don't bring it tomorrow - I'll get it next weekend (as I'll be paid then!)

Okay - Will see you tomorrow (There's a guy from the Micro forum who'll be there too, so there's a couple of people I can meet!)

Okay - I think I'll be having them then
I've been looking into Sorex 28 for tyres (pre-glued to wheels), with some Shimizu D01J's for wets? They good?
Also - Just for the time being, what's a good (but relatively cheap) hard-case LiPo that can be balanced from a (what I call) normal balance port? Looking at the Trakpower, I would assume I'd need to get the specific balancer to be able to plug into that funny middle port on the battery? |

LiPo's worth going for include the Trakpower, - probably the 3600 would be ideal (the newer 30C version gets you up to date)
and if you are contemplating 19T/10.5 sort of motors, capacity won't be an issue _________________ for some reason, my car likes to fly off kerbs...
note to self, steer clear of the red n white bits! |

Looking at the cars running on Sunday, the majority go for Trakpower (And understandably so!) but I really want a cheaper alternative (Just for this month, to get the vehicle going) as I won't be able to get the Trakpower balancer and charger until next month - I think I've pretty much spent out this month already (Unless someone can tell me how to balance the batteries another way, as my balance charger has the oblong white plastic sockets, not a "peg" like the Trakpower battery accepts!) If there is another way to balance them, then I'll get the 3600 version of the battery.
(Hoping I don't have to cut any holes or slots out of it to make it fit!?!?) |
