team raceI cant seem to find any details of this ... can anyone tell me what the plan is ?? is it an endurance race ?

Yes this is a team endurance race,2 or 3 hours,with break in the middle

Hi Ast,Pete's right we have used the same format about 4/5 times now.
Teams of 5 or 6.Either a team already assembled or i put all the names togethor and sort into fair teams.
Nitro or electric or mixed teams,run to normal rules.(No foams)
Run for 2 x 2hr segments with a 45min break in between.Then the accumilated laps for each team combined to give the winners.
Only one transponder per team.
Nitro's are allowed to refuel once before having to change driver.Meaning that roughly both electric and Nitro's can run for 12-14 mins on one stint before having to change driver/car.
Each team is responible for 1 marshall point.With a penalty for any time when the post is unoccupied.
Only one car in pitlane at any one time and broken cars have to be recovered from the track where they stopped by the team.
Thats about it really and they have always been excellent fun and a good change from just racing each other.Normally ending in only 1 or 2 laps between teams after 4hrs.
