Places to run off-road

Hi all, this is my 1st post here, so thought that i would say hello to all. Myself and my partner recently purchased a Nitro 4x4 off-road truggy and i was wondering if anyone can tell me a suitable place to use it, within the Colchester area.

We were at Friday Woods in Colchester, but were moved on as we were told that we were not able to run it on the open ground!

After a few false starts (to rich etc) we finally got it up and running, and would be grateful, if someone could tell us, where you recommend that we let it loose.

Thanks
Claire & Paul.

i used to run my savage at abbey fields open area ( just off Berechurch Rd) as well as Hilly Fields ( down by St Helena school (opposite) but also there is the wednesday evening option the main thing to watch out for are other people and animals if any come into the near vicinity of the truck.truggie just stop or bring the model back to you at a slow speed .Or i did use to use the wick firing ranges area off of mersea rd but the grass can be a bit long sometimes .
Hope this helps

Open Land

Thanks for the help and advice about running the car, in the places that were mentioned. I will give them a try at some point, and hopefully be able to give it a full run

Thanks again
Claire
