Not exactly true, DC motors want volts, more volts the faster it will run. The higher C rating means the batteries has the ability to withstand a higher current draw for a longer time. So in theory you can gear higher and pull more current and go faster. But if you really want to go fast put a 3 cell LiPo in which produces 11.1 volts now that is fun .
