26th April 2009 - What a meeting!!So, today we tried fastest lap qualfiying. - Was much more fun than the normal formatt! Im sure everyone else who was there wil agree!!
The 22 minuite was .. something else.. Pb did we'll to pit for.. 5 of us oh aswell as restarting and marshalling us!
Also - Dave had a bootsale this morning! - Me, Dad, and Aston all tried foams! - Which were also great - Gave loads of grip and havent worn to badly - even after 22mins of final action!... Aston's tires were something else!!!

  yes it was a really good day qualifiying was loads better and the 22min final was also lots better (well done paul)
Foams all the way baby 
i must remember to avoid the kerbs tho

yeah the foams seem to have lasted the test. I have a least another 45mins run on that set.
Must note a few things tho
1) if your car slides either front end or back end the foams will ware quicker respectively ( i had a controlled slide on the rear end but my foams wore quicker on the rear for this)
2) The mess in the car was more than with rubber
3) The strain on car parts was more a few of my belt are missing teeth
But what a day racing. It was closer all day and more fun as you had grip that you wanted to get rid off 
Craig did try rubber for one quaily and was 3 seconds a lap slower so they are a lot quicker but so much fun.
They get a thumbs up from me but i think a little more persavering will be needed to see if they are a finacally better than rubber
