Right, the car won't be built for a while yet as i've got to sort out the workshop/bedroom first!!

Just a few q's about the build though:

1.  There are a lot of alloy parts, I take it you need to use threadlock on all of the screws that go into them?

2. What receiver packs are people using?

3. Any tips on building the shocks and diffs?

Any other tips and tricks appreciated!

Hi Dan,personally i didnt use any threadlock and up until now i've not had any come loose. However probably putting the'Smallest'drip possible on each screw underneath would do no harm.

The shocks are easy to build and get smooth, just take your time.
The diffs need a little more care as it is possible to strip the thread if not careful,eh Dave. :doh:And make sure the rubber seal isnt twisted once in place.

Me,Tim and Dave are using the new Li-fe 6.6v cells from HK and they seem very good. All the benefits of Lipo but because they are 6.6v,NO regulator needed.

Basically just take your time and follow the instructions and you'll find it goes togethor very well.

Paul.

Hi Dan, I used thread lock when building my 733 however I would not advise, the screws are very difficult to remove once set and unless you have top notch hexdrivers you will end up striping the hex's out of the screws when removing, and like Paul has mentioned there’s been no issues with screws coming loose. Tip, Alloy bits ensure there’s no swarf left in the bottom of the threads.
shocks tips, to ensure equal rebound I used 4mm of caserter clips between shock body and ball joint when assembling.
I used an Xceed lipo and regulator, however LI-FI is a cheaper option .
Good luck with your build.
