As I'm just starting out in 1/10th TC racing, I've managed to get my hands on a Cyclone (Not the S!) and quite a few spares. I'm starting off simple, and will build up when my experience grows...
I was just wondering if the Cyclone cuts it these days for racing, or whether I should (when the time comes) aim towards something different? |

That's made me rather happy (Although I'm aiming more towards thirty-third!) Then working my way up! |

The Latest version of the Cyclone is the Cyclone TC... take a look at a picture somewhere, and you'll see it's almost exactly the same as the original car, and all the parts are interchangeable _________________ for some reason, my car likes to fly off kerbs...

| Well - The car's sorted then (A bit late now, if it wasn't that good...) so it's now to look at a new ESC and motor (Figured I'll move over to the TrakPower "gold-brick" LiPo's, as and when) and also whether to change my Spektrum DX3.0 for something better or not? |

spektrum 3.0 is good im mean they only imporve each modle by 0.000002 seconds so can you really tell the difference only when you forget to do the wheel nuts up |

I wondered why my steering was sloppy... I thought it might be the CVD's or something
I'll stick with my spekky for the time being (£300 can be better spent on electrics!)
Again; thanks for your help. |

the speed passion LPF speed control does brushed and brushless (sensored and unsensored) it has LiPo cut off etc just as the top LRP units do, as well as a Hand Held Programmer that the others dont - and it costs £90 as opposed to £160+ for the Novak/LRP alternatives
Also it may be a good idea to bear in mind that Speed Passion motors come with a warranty, so if any damage at all occurrs even as a result of personal misuse, the most you will ever pay to replace it is half the price of a new one. _________________ for some reason, my car likes to fly off kerbs...
