Don't Think I need one now

Well after 4 hours down at Snetterton today all I can say is WOW .......

It took 2 minutes to tune the engine , all it needed was the low speed needle wound in until it stopped spitting fuel out the Pipe and then it was fine ...........

After I had done about 5 tanks of fuel I decided to time it to see how long I could run on a tank , The answer was not good I could only get 7 mins 20 sec top wack But at least it was concistant as I did another 5 runs timed and they was all around the 7 min mark !!!! NOT ENOUGH as I need to be able to do 7mins 30 secs with ease or I will be needing to do 2 fuel stops compaired to others that I know can do a 15 min final on 1 stop   ....

So I tried leaning the TOP END SCREW down to hopfuly use less fuel BUT it did not like the 1/8th of a turn I gave it , It did not run a smooth as it had before so I presume I had got it about right in the first place !!!!

After doing this the Car would not restart for the next run ten minutes later , Having checked it over I found that the Glow Plug had Blown ( If this is the correct term ) Also having taken the glow plug out it turned out to be a standard plug , I thought it was a turbo Engine & Pipe BUT maybe it is not , So the Turbo Plug I had bought for a spare I felt I should not fit incase I caused any Damage !!!

I went to the Shop to buy a new number 6 plug BUT there plugs were colour coded and the Bloke behind the counter could not tell me what colour was equivelent to a number 6 ........ Hope less if you ask me .................

I had an old Plug in the pit box from and old Nitro thing I had 4 or 5 years back so i put it in not knowing what it was and I was off again for another 4 or 5 tanks worth of fuel  BUT it was not as smooth as it had been with the origanal plug in it ...

Well over all I did a lot of running with out cutting out at all all day and I only crashed once when I got a bit sloppy , only maybe 3 spins all that is left to say is

ITS FANTASTIC

And if Ryk is right and it will be loads better with softer springs on I can't wait to get them as this thing was planted all day long when it was damp , damp / drying & totaly dry ................

I am still smiling now & I was all the way home

Can't wait to go up against you seasoned Nitro Boys Now its sorted and the confidence is High ...........................
