Hi Julian
I use the ins box filter, you can get one from (elite rc),you can ring them and ask for Jeff Tel.01422373010, about £12/14.
Paul also uses one, they fit all cars.
Best Regards Pete. |

Hi Jules I should like to mention that the INS box filter is not sold as a waterproof filter it is a low noise intake filter, because of its design it works better than some (including the one you had on sunday) I did tell you sunday you need the correct oil as well as filter the oil is quite thick and very sticky and wont allow the water through it very easilly. The one I have been using is a rubber surroud with two filters in it the bottom filter is just oiled and the top filter has the waterproof sticky oil in it this can be removed. cleaned and reoiled very easily. Hope all this helps.
ps. if you go for the INS box you may need to buy a right angle rubber joint as well because they are quite big it may not fit under the shell without a 90 deg bend |
